November 2010 | The Centre Pompidou in Paris opened a
large-scale exhibition on the 1st of December 2010 on De Stijl and Piet Mondriaan. The NAI has loaned more than 100 items from the
archives of architects such as Theo van Doesburg, Cornelis van
Eesteren, J.J.P. Oud, P.J.C. Klaarhamer, Jan Wils and J.M.L. Lauweriks.

April 2011 | On 8 April, the archive of architect J.W.C. Boks
(1904-1986) was officially transferred to the NAI. It is an important
addition to archives from the post-war reconstruction period already in
the NAI collection. This occasion also saw the launch of the book that
Hans Willem Bakx wrote on Boks based on his study of this archive.

From April 7 onwards the people of The Hague , tourists and expats can see the winning design for the International Dance and Music Centre (IDMC) on their smartphone for the first time. They can also marvel at an alternative design for the Bijenkorf department store, City Hall and the Peace Palace . After Rotterdam and Amsterdam , The Hague is the latest city to have its architecture ‘captured’ by the smartphone app UAR (Urban Augmented Reality); the buildings are presented in 3D.
