Library and Reading Room
Tuesday – Saturday 10.00 – 17.00 hours
Closed on Saturdays in July and August.
During the holidays, different opening hours apply: the reading room will be closed on December 25 and December 26, 2009 and on January 1 and 2, 2010. On December 5, December 24 and December 31, the reading room will be open from 10.00 - 16.00 hours.

Please note that if you wish to examine documents from the archives on Saturdays, you must request them before 16:00 the Friday before.

How to get there
The Netherlands Architecture Institute is located in the centre of Rotterdam, at approximately 15 minutes' walk from Rotterdam Central Station. The NAI is part of the Museum Park, and is located diagonally across from the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum. The NAI can be reached by public transport by taking the metro (Eendrachtsplein station), tram lines 4 or 7 (Eendrachtsplein stop) or bus 32 (Rochussenstraat stop). There is a limited number of paid parking spaces at the NAI. There are parking garages at about five to ten minutes' walk.

After the Sonneveld House

Entrance NAI moved
Because of the 4th International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR) from Tuesday 15 September 2009 till 10 January 2010 the entrance of the NAi has been moved to the Museum Park. Visitors of the NAI enter Gallery 1 directly by crossing a new bridge. The reception, bookshop and bar have a spot in the IABR-Forum in Gallery 1 of the NAi. The regular entrance to Rochussenstraat and Museum Park have been closed up till 10 January for visitors.
