The
exhibition ‘Disputed City’ is over. After a successful period with many
enthusiastic visitors, the main gallery of the NAI is now empty. All the
visitors to the website or the main gallery in the last few months have been
able to vote for the buildings that they would like to see back on display soon
in the permanent exhibition ‘City of Holland’.
Of the
forty controversial models that took part in the competition, the following ten
are the winners:
The
absolute winner was the Hoofdkantoor Nederlandse Middenstands Bank, which drew
the highest number of votes from the public both on the website and at the
physical exhibition.
The thirty
models that failed to win go back to the depot. The ten winners are ready to be
put on display after the reopening of the renovated NAI in December in the new
permanent exhibition ‘City of Holland’.
