First version of Collection Information System online
February 2009 | A first, very basic version of the new Collection Information System (CIS) can now be consulted online. The development of the CIS is an ambitious long-term project designed to make the entire NAI collection accessible. While this first version of the CIS does not yet use all the system’s options, it will enable you to search a large part of the collection from your own computer. The inventories of the archives are available as full text in the CIS.

My Public Space
Exhibition | 'My Public Space' is a travelling exhibition that makes it clear that public space in Europe is much less public and accessible than we tend to think. How our immediate surroundings are organised is increasingly subject to privatisation, thematisation, control, commercialisation and the influence of the media. Eight correspondents carried out research on urban developments in Dublin, Copenhagen, Naples, Barcelona, Rotterdam, Tirana, Brussels and Berlin to find out how the transformation of public space has taken place.
